since i will be at work when the trailer drops here are some of my ideas on what the new d20 season could be

the dropout letter said it would be “something very special” with a very menacing … at the end

  • this could mean a side quest with some special guests or a sequel to another side quest. although im not sure what side quest sequel would be “very special” since most of the side quests ended with complete stories or were 100% left open to continue. but its a possibility it could be a side quest sequel.
  • if its another new side quest i think an intrepid hero would be a player (or possibly the dm) with other well liked guests of the show. murph and siobhan haven’t been on a side quest yet so that could count as the “very special” thing
  • but i think the “very special” is alluding to another full season with the intrepid heroes but im not sure if its a sequel season or a new idea. it makes me think we’ll get fantasy high junior year (since that’s the only sequel that makes sense considering they just did unsleeping city part 2).

ive seen some concepts being thrown around like mythology and western which i think would be cool. i don’t really have an idea for concepts besides who might possibly be on the next season.

Marshae Jones was shot in 2018 during an argument. She was 5-months pregnant at the time and the trauma ended the pregnancy. While charges were dropped against the shooter, the survivor, Marshae Jones is now being charged with manslaughter for starting the argument. Black and indigenous women are almost always the first targets of policies that attempt to steal autonomy over their own bodies from women. Marshae is clearly the victim in this situation, yet she know faces a hefty prison sentence for being shot. She is being held on a $50,000 bail. This is absolutely disgusting, and we must end both the system of cash bail and the prison industrial complex that seeks to criminalize black, brown, and working class white people at every opportunity. #SayHerName
